Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently Onesti(born November 12, 1961 in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, now One Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to get a flawless score of 10 during the Olympic event. Comaneci was spotted by Bela Karolyi who was later her Romanian gymnastics instructor when she was six years old. She competed in the Romanian Junior Championships and placed 13th. She was awarded the championship in 1970. At her first international event in 1972 she came out on top by winning three gold awards. Her debut as a senior in 1975, she beat Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. She was the five-time European champion who won four golds and one argent. She was the first woman to complete a reverse double salo with the uneven parallel bar after winning the American Cup, New York City 1976. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. When she was in her teens she was performing on traveling shows like Ice Capades as a skater alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol's career began in entertainment in her teens. She started her career performing figure skating along with Nina Wayne, her younger sister, in the traveling entertainment programs Ice Capades. Ice Capades showcased performances of skating on ice with actors.
